Buyer information

Shipping and returns

Each seller packs and posts their own parcels, so shipping is charged per shop and worked out by the weight of your order and where it is going. Prices and postage are shown in your own currency, and the exact total appears before you pay.

One parcel per shop

If your basket holds products from three shops, you pay three shipping fees and receive three parcels. Each shop dispatches on its own schedule and its tracking number appears on your order page as soon as it is posted.

Not every product goes everywhere

Sellers set the destinations for each listing separately, because the rules differ by product type. Seeds and live plant material usually need a plant passport or a phytosanitary certificate, so a seller may be allowed to send seed to two countries only, while the salves from the same shop go worldwide.

Set your delivery country in the top bar. The catalog then shows only what can reach you, and each product page states its own destinations. A restricted product cannot be added to the cart for a country it may not be sent to.

✓Seeds and live plants: often limited to one or two countries.
✓Alcohol-based tinctures: usually Europe only, because of customs rules on alcohol.
✓Teas, dried herbs, salves and books: normally worldwide.

How postage is worked out

Each shop groups the countries it ships to into zones and sets postage by weight — for example “up to 1 kg” and “up to 5 kg”. Your basket's weight for that shop decides the price, and the exact amount always appears in the cart before you pay.

✓You pay one postage per shop. A basket from three shops means three parcels and three postages.
✓Many shops ship free above a spend they set themselves — shown in the cart.
✓Dispatch within 2 working days of payment.
✓Delivery is typically 3 to 8 working days nearby and longer across the world — each shop gives its own honest estimate.

Customs and import duties

Orders sent outside the seller's customs union may attract import duty or tax on arrival. These charges are set by your own country and are paid by you. Every parcel carries a customs declaration listing the contents, the weight and the value.

Some countries restrict the import of plant material. Check your national rules before ordering dried herbs from another continent.

Your 14-day right to change your mind

For most things you buy here you have 14 days to change your mind, counted from the day your order arrives, without giving a reason. You are always sent a ready-made withdrawal form with your order confirmation — use it, or simply tell the shop in any clear way. Return postage is yours unless the item arrived damaged or was not as described.

✓Books, tools and unopened sealed goods: returnable within 14 days.
✓Fresh or perishable goods, and sealed foods, teas, dried herbs, supplements, cosmetics or salves once the seal is broken: not returnable, because the law allows an exception for perishable and hygiene-sealed goods.
✓Made-to-order or specially blended items: not returnable once made.
✓Faulty, damaged or wrong items: photograph the parcel and write within 14 days for a full refund including postage — this right is separate from the 14 days and lasts much longer.
✓Refunds go to your original payment method within 14 days of the return arriving (or your proof of sending it).

If the 14 days apply and you are ever not given the form and the information, your time to change your mind is extended by law.

If a parcel does not arrive
